More Good Books for Lost Souls
A friend of mine recently told me about a book called Orbiting the Giant Hairball by Gordon MacKenzie. She described it as a survival guide for creative souls trapped in corporate culture. If you are a Lost Soul type working for The Man, this book can help you keep your individuality--and your cool--intact. Mr. MacKenzie was a free spirit with such a magnetic personality that he was able to convince his company--Hallmark Cards--that he should create a new department called the Humor Workshop, and, in his final years with Hallmark, hold the position of "Creative Paradox."
Whimsical illustrations accompany MacKenzie's deceptively simple text. Orbiting the Giant Hairball offers great comfort to artistic souls stuck in corporate confines.
