The 8th Annual PARSEC/Confluence Science Fiction & Fantasy Short Story Contest
Theme: "The Alien Wore Fish-Net Stockings"
Deadline: February 1, 2003
Prizes: First Prize $200; Second Prize $100; Third Prize $50.
Entry Fee: none!
Eligibility: open to non-professional writers
Format: science fiction, fantasy, or horror genre. Original, unpublished, unsold stories only and no more than 3,500 words long. Submit in standard contest format (title and page number on each page, but author name only appears on separate cover page; otherwise as in any professional submission). No e-mail submissions. Include SASE for notification only, as manuscripts will not be returned. Incorrect format will make entry ineligible. Stories must relate to the theme. (See above.)
