9th Annual Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition
Description: film festival held in Austin, Texas, Oct. 10-17, 2002 with screenplay categories including Adult/Family and Comedy Prizes: Winners in each category receive $5,000 cash; reimbursement of roundtrip airfare (up to $500); hotel compensation at the film festival (up to $500); and the AFF bronze typewriter award. All Finalists receive: one complimentary Producers Pass to the film festival and Heart of Film Screenwriters Conference. * The winners will also have their screenplays read in Los Angeles at a staged reading with professional actors.
